In a blog post today, the developer of Life Is Strange, DONTNOD Entertainment, officially announced that a sequel is currently in development. They made the announcement to celebrate the achievement of reaching 3 million "unique paying players". Which they believe wouldn't have been possible without us, the community. So here are some kind, thankful words:
"We reached over 3 million unique paying players! It’s an incredible achievement and one we could not have reached without you, our fantastic community! You helped spread positive words about our game and have continually kept the world interested in what happens next."
But don't get all excited just yet. The game is far from ready. So much that they will not be able to show it off in this year's E3.
DONTNOD said, "the new game will not be at E3 in June this year but we will be watching the show alongside you all and wish everyone good luck!"
