Roundup of everything that happened at EA Play 2017

This year's EA Play kicked off with a performance of drummers, with drums that have stickers (or paint?) of EA Play and Madden NFL 2018. After the performance a trailer began, which was the story trailer for Madden NFL 18! Yes, Madden NFL 18 will include a story mode called "Long Shot". Then EA's CEO, Andrew Wilson took the stage and welcomed everyone to EA Play and described its vision and all that.

Then they moved onto Battlefield 1's upcoming expansion, "In the Name of the Tsar". Explaining everything it adds and then showing a trailer to sum everything up. But i'm not going into details of the expansion pack in this article.

Now I may mess up the order the games were shown in a little. So, sorry in advance.

Next they moved onto FIFA 18 or better to say Alex Hunter. Yes, Alex Hunter's return in FIFA 18's Journey Mode has been confirmed. Also they showed how they use real players to capture the in-game animations. Like nobody can replicate Ronaldo better than Ronaldo himself. A trailer was released which included some of the motion capture events.

NBA Live 18 was discussed and it seemed like it'll also feature a story mode called "The One". A demo is coming in August, so you can get a taste of the game before spending any money on it.

Need For Speed Payback had a great gameplay walkthrough of the mission "Highway Heist" and a normal gameplay trailer. In the mission, we were trying to steal back our Koenigsegg from The House. It was an action packed chase and heist in a totally Fast & Furious style. Later at EA Play after the end of the main show, some customization was showed off and it wasn't bad at all.

Now, it's time for the new IPs! There were 2 in total. Let's start off with BioWare's new IP, Anthem. Today it was only teased with a short teaser trailer. They will have "so much more" to show at Microsoft E3 press conference tomorrow.

Next is from the makers of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Starbreeze Studios. It's called "A Way Out". It is a split co-op game which can be played online or with your buddy sitting right beside you on the couch. Two trailers were released and gameplay was showed. It seems amazing to be honest, I love the idea of the game. How you'll need to help and rely on each other to get out of the prison alive, just creates a damn amazing base for a co-op game. And the game is totally story-driven. So you can't (or shouldn't) just casually play and leave the game; you'll get immersed into the gameplay supported by a hopefully decent story.

And the last but not the least, there was a 30-minute long 64-player multiplayer world-premier of Star Wars Battlefront 2 as the climax of the show! It showed intense action between both teams fighting over an office like place. It featured aerial dogfights, decimation with tanks, slashing enemies with lightsabres and what not. You don't want to miss it!

Head over to our videos section and check out all the above mentioned trailers that released at EA Play 2017!
