my opinion:
it's really worth every penny..😉
assassins creed black flag is really bad optimized game.. so yeah it will run really bad
but it's not gonna happen with gta v.. its really good optimized game..
some laptop(not for gaming laptop) with 4 gb will found some stuttering ,lagging, late renders and something like that while playing gta v it's because this game used at least 3,7 gb ram usage to run it ,.. but i can see there that you have 8 gb ram.. and i think it should be run smoothly..

cheers😉

Hi guys can you let me know if its worth me buying GTA V on my laptop (steam sale)
Im running Nvidia Geforce 840m 2GB dedicated graphics on a laptop (HP Pavillion)
Intel Core i7-4510U CPU 2.00 - 2.60ghz boost, Graphics clock 1029 MHz
RAM 8GB
1TB Memory
Quad core
64 bit operating system
1366x768 resolution
I want to know if its really going to run smoothly otherwise i dont think its worth playing, how demanding is it really? i have to run black flag on almost lowest setting just to get it to run fluidly btw, if someone can let me know so i can start the horrible process of downloading this 65gb monster from steam! cheers

hello! My current set up is a
fx 6350
R9 270x crossfire
32gb ram
and i was wondering if picking up the new amd R9 Nano along with upgrading the cpu to Fx 8350 would be a good upgrade or would there be bottlenecking of some sort? Also what if i only upgrade the gpu would that graphics be to much for the cpu?

thanks!

Nvidia GT 610 1GB 64bit DDR3 (30$), Radeon HD 7770 1GB 128bit GDDR5 (80$), R7 240 2GB 128bit DDR3 (70$) that's what I know, these are very cheap but not for 2016 game settings. 😀

GT 610 - Games till 2012 - Example - Spec Ops The Line (low 40fps), COD MW3 (High 45fps), Far Cry 3 (medium 25fps), Assassin's Creed 3 (low 20fps).
HD 7770 - Games till 2014 - Example - Skyrim (High 45fps), GTA V (low 30fps), Battlefield 4 (Ultra 40fps), Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag (Very High 40fps).
R7 240 - Games till 2013 - little weaker than 7770 (-10fps per game i think) 😉

i think core i3 is enough for now.. but if you really have the budgets.. then an upgrade is not a bad choice..

No, that VRAM isn't important. GTX 950 is much better than R7 240. 😀

Wondering what games are my limit with my Nvidia Geforce 840m?
Im running Nvidia Geforce 840m 2GB dedicated graphics on a laptop (HP Pavillion)
Intel Core i7-4510U CPU 2.00 - 2.60ghz boost
RAM 8GB
1TB Memory
64 bit operating system
1366x768 resolution

I play Gta 4, Arkham Origins/Asylum/City, Skyrim, Battlefield 4 no problem
Wondering if i can run Assassin's Creed Black Flag or any other games at that graphics level.
if someone can give me a list of when i could run or possible run at a push that would be great
Cheers!
