But what they won’t tell is what those minimum requirements are for? Are they for 30 fps? Are they for 60 fps? Are they for 720p or 1080p?
Generally, I wouldn’t use minimum requirements to decide if I can run a game at the level I want to run it at. Instead, it’s better if you look for benchmarks for that game with hardware that is similar to yours.
For example, if you have an i5–3570k CPU and an AMD RX 480 GPU, you can search benchmarks for those specific components on youtube. If there aren’t any benchmarks of the 2 components together, then you can search for 2 benchmarks - one for that CPU and one for that GPU. You will be able to run the game at the lowest FPS and resolution of the 2, generally speaking.
