Everything is important in gaming in its own way!
GPU is important for quality and graphics processing, CPU is important for loading times, particle processing (if not supported by GPU), RAM is important for fast responses, HDD is important for fast loading times (depends on the HDD's speed).
Of course all these parts are important for more stuff, but I said like this so you can understand easier!

And to answer your question, yes, you can run it on the lower side in 720p, and maybe up to medium if you lower the resolution.

About the CUDA cores, you're right partially! Tongue
You can't program them to work with programs!
Programs need to have support for it in the first place! And the GPU needs to be supported if you want to use the CUDA cores, it doesn't matter if you have CUDA cores if your GPU is not supported! Smiley

you can run it and i lag far behind in the requirements still i played it on high quality but your PC is much more powerful than mine so you can run it fine and about the cuda cores i have 8 cuda cores and still run it. Actually a CUDA core can be programmed to do anything the programmer wants it to do. Like a video encoding software can use all of the cores and optimize them for encoding video. A video game will use some of the cores for texture processing, some for physics calculations, etc., etc.
