New here (and new to homebuilt systems) This being asked for my son
We can't get Steam to work. It will load to the main page (he plays Counter Strike). Can surf the web, so the system 'works' all fans operate, DVD works, etc.
The system we built is:
Processor: AMD A8 7650K Radeon R7 (3.8 GHz Max, 3.3 GHz)
Motherboard: MSI A88X-G45 Gaming
RAM: Corsair 8GB
HD: WD 1TB
DVD: LG GH 24
WiFi: TP-Link (internal)
OS: Windows 7
Case: LEPA LPC501
PS: Coolmax 600W V600
Where did we go wrong? What can we change to get this system operating without spending a large sum.
