Call of Duty: Modern Warfare officially announced
The next Call of Duty game has been revealed and it isn't a sequel, but a reboot. It is called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and is a "reimagining of the iconic Modern Warfare series".
This year's Call of Duty is developed by Infinity Ward and will support cross-platform play between PC and consoles but it won't have a season pass. Besides the multiplayer mode, it will include a single-player campaign and co-op missions, as well.
"In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, players will be thrust into an immersive narrative spanning the entire game. Players can experience the ultimate online playground with classic multiplayer or squad-up and play cooperatively in a collection of elite operations, accessible to all skill levels."
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be available exclusively on Battle.net and will launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 25.
