Destiny 2 PC version detailed
During a livestream event today, a lot of detail about the upcoming Destiny sequel was revealed. This article includes only the PC specific ones. But before that, watch the official gameplay trailer below:
Destiny 2's PC version will be available exclusively through Blizzard's online gaming platform, Battle.net. Which is no surprise since Battle.net is a home to multiple big time online games (like Overwatch, World of Warcraft etc.).
But the game will also be sold at retail, for those who prefer a physical edition.
Outside of that, PC version of Destiny 2 will have 4K support, uncapped framerates, wide range of PC graphic settings and more. A press release reads, Destiny 2 will feature "4K resolution support (3820x2160), uncapped framerate, full mouse and keyboard support with custom key mapping, text chat, an adjustable field of view, a detailed PC settings screen, and 21:9 monitor support."
So that seems like quite a well PC version. Uncapped FPS, highly tuneable settings, full mouse-keyboard support is all that a PC gamer demands.
Destiny 2 is scheduled to release on September 8, 2017, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. But a beta will be held sometime before that. So, you might not have to wait that long to play it.
