by SamX, 2017. June 06., news

EA has officially revealed the next entry in its widely known soccer game series, FIFA. Maintaining the series' naming scheme, the game is called FIFA 18. It is scheduled to come out on September 29, 2017 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Watch the reveal trailer below:

This time around, Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will be on the game's cover. This will happen for the first time ever! And so if you pre-order the "Ronaldo Edition", you get to play three days early.
Also, if you're an EA/Origin Access member, you can play a 10-hour trial starting from September 21.

As for the game, we only know that the Journey mode is returning, FUT Legends have been renamed to "Icons" and they're no longer Xbox exclusive and that the Nintendo Switch version will not run on EA's Frostbite engine nor have the Journey mode.

More information and gameplay footage is expected to be revealed at E3 2017. Stay tuned. Cause only 6 days are left until E3!
