ReCore to get HDR support in 2017
ReCore, the first 'Xbox Play Anywhere' title, will get HDR (High Dynamimc Range) support in 2017. Xbox Studios' Shannon Loftis revealed this on Twitter, saying:
BTW - if you didn't already guess: @ReCoreGame is getting the HDR treatment, too! It will look awesome on your new Christmas TV. #XboxOneS— Shannon Loftis (@shannonloftis) November 28, 2016
Despite being the first 'Xbox Play Anywhere' game, it isn't the first Microsoft Exclusive to get HDR support. Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4 already support HDR. Anyway, the Patch which will add HDR support to ReCore is expected to release sometime in 2017. But to see the difference (i.e. benefits of HDR), like more vibrant and luminous colors, you must have a 4K-enabled monitor (TV actually) with an Xbox One S or, not to mention, a beast PC.
