Rockstar is dropping an extended GTA 6 gameplay look later this month

Rockstar Games has officially announced that an extended look at Grand Theft Auto 6's long-awaited gameplay is coming before the end of August.

In a somewhat unexpected move, the reveal is launching exclusively on Netflix first, thanks to a new partnership between the two companies. The decision to put the new footage behind a subscription paywall hasn't exactly gone over well with fans — though the exclusivity window is mercifully short. The showcase will make its way to Rockstar's official YouTube channel and website just a few hours later.

Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look is set to debut on Netflix on August 27 at 9:00 PM CET. It will then go live on Rockstar's YouTube channel six hours later, at 3:00 AM CET on August 28.
