Oh K
Sorry Attila....
He asked if B is worth the extra money so if it isn't he can save money! And there's no difference in performance between the two...The only difference is that with an AMD he won't get nVidia exclusive stuff like physX, which isn't required for gaming!
Read the question carefully next time...
I Will Go With Candidate B.....
@Attila-13
Whats With CandidateA
Candidate A.) is fine. You just won't have any benefits that only an nVidia card can offer, other then that, you'll be able to run any game with the HD8730M just like with the GT650M.
Candidate A)
i5-3230M (2.6GHz)
4GB
AMD(ATI) / Radeon HD8730M
Candidate B)
i5-3230M (2.6GHz)
4GB DDR3
Nvidia GeForce GT650M (without the Optimus technology. I heard that the Optimus could save power, but could hinder your game performance.....)
I know Candidate B's VGA is better, but would Candidate A be enough for a smooth gameplay in, maybe, high-option? Candidate B is slightly more expensive, and if there is no noticeable difference between their game performance, I might go with the cheaper one. (If there IS a noticeable difference, well then, I probably will go with Candidate B.....)
In game recording GPU is important, not CPU! CPU is important in editing!
And yes the 740M is far better then the 7650M.
And what did I say?
Didn't I say to go with the i3 if he isn't interested in editing?
Look carefully...
but if he has a core i5 he can make videos of latest games and do good editing but if he is not intrested in editing then he can have a i3 and save his money 😜. well is GT 740 better than HD 7650?
Go with the new one you found!
It's true that the i3 it's worse, but it's more then enough for gaming!
If you plan on doing some editing like photo/video stuff then go with the i5 version, but if not this is the perfect choice for up to medium/high gaming in 720p. 😀
Sorry i don't know much about gpu's i am new but it doesn't mean i don't know anything 😃. Although i don't know much about ATI gpus 😜.
Thanks so much for your advice and kind welcome!!!
Then, would I be able to play Skyrim via middle-option (or even high-option??) with Candidate A?
Oh, and one more question if you allow me......I just found a model with,
i3-3120M (2.5GHz)
4GB DDR3
Nvidia GT740M
Do you think it would show a better gaming performance than Candidate A? (The GPU is certainly better but CPU is worse......)
1. I'm not bossy. I'd just like that you check your facts before you post anything about GPU's.
2. B.) is a good choice, but A.) better. As I said new generation GPU doesn't mean that it's better.
3. Don't worry, ho won't be banned.
@reice
No need to apologize, welcome to the site. 😉
Thanks for the advice!!!
Plz allow me to apologize for all the trouble. This is my first day at this website, so I'm not yet familiar with the custom.....(in fact, i should find out how to modify/delete my messages...)
candidate B is better in my opinion...
and please don't ask a question everywhere r u will be banned 😉.
thanks,
Candidate A)
CPU: Intel i5-3230M (2.6GHz)
Memory: 4GB / DDR3
VGA: AMD(ATI) Radeon HD7650M
Resolution: 1600x900
Candidate B)
i5-3230M (2.6GHz)
4GB / DDR3
VGA: AMD(ATI) Radeon HD8570M
1366x768
Candidate C)
i5-4200U (1.6 GHz)
4GB / DDR3

1366X768
Candidate D)

AMD(ATI) / Radeon HD7670M

Would I be able to run the game on the aforementioned laptops? (If possible, on a medium setting)
If possible, could you single out the product that would show better game performance?
You can't.
@austineking
He can't with that IGPU! It's just not enough!
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2310M CPU @ 2.10GHz
Graphics Card: Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000

ok.. i though it was 256.. sorry .
you can run it on lowest settings ..
you cannot run this game because it requires gpu with 512 mb vram your gpu has only 256 mb.. u need to upgrade your gpu 😀.
VGA:Nvidia geforce 8400 GS
OS: windows 7 32 bit
RAM: 2 GB
can i run it on low settings?
open world RPG
Thank you for the answer.what genre this is
very easily the game's requirements are very low
A bunch of awesome stuff!
It's an open world FPS RPG! (like Fallout 3/NV).
I have more than 300hours play time with this game! 😃
i am roaming with a man in the game's starting and it seems boring but what will come up next
Boring you say?!?!?
You don't have tasting in games then! 😆 😜
Yes.
it does work just but intel gpu are not designed for gaming they are integrated into your cpu overtime this will slowly kill your cpu if you continue to play games on it
you really need amd or nvidia gpu to run the game smoothly and properly
i just played skyrim on my pc it works just fine with just alittlebit slow
No!
win7 ultimate 32-bit
3072mb of RAM
Mobile Intel(R) 45 express chipset family
Intel(R) core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8700 @ 2.53 GHz(2CPUs)
Check out an earlier comment of mine which is on this page too! I already answered it!
