GTA 5 is free to keep on PC for limited time

Rockstar's critically acclaimed open world game, Grand Theft Auto V is free for a limited time on the Epic Games Store. The game normally costs 29.99 euro but for the next seven days you can get it for free. The offer ends on Thursday, May 21.

To get the game, just go to the Grand Theft Auto V page on the Epic Games Store, and click the "GET" button. Once you get the game, it will be yours forever.

The error can be solved this way

· Right-click on your Epic Games launcher desktop shortcut
· Select “Properties”
· In the line labeled “Target” (or "Destino" in spanish, just in case you get confused as I did) add the following to the very end (after the quotation mark): -SkipBuildPatchPrereq
· It should look something like this: “C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Binaries\Win64\EpicGamesLauncher.exe” -SkipBuildPatchPrereq
· Click “Apply"
· Double click the shortcut to run the launcher and try again

It is CRITICAL you leave a space between “C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Binaries\Win64\EpicGamesLauncher.exe” and the script "-SkipBuildPatchPrereq". Thus, it skips the "Pre-requisites check" rubbish.

geez ... quit yelling at Epic, their launcher isn't very good but even then, they give us so many free games that saying they are bad is just like shooting on an ambulance ... It's pointless and pretty rude for no reason at all 😉 just take the gift and say thanks.

@BardiaMGTGC: I was talking about people that shit talk epic for no reason other than "meh fortnite is bad, epic is bad blabla", I wasn't talking about people that have a reason, if you bought two games you didn't get in the end, then you have the perfect right to yell against their services..

I never bought any game at Epic but have 62 games in my library, so it would be VERY stupid and pointless from me to yell at them for giving me that many games for free.
