Take-Two confirms GTA 6 won't slip again

Take-Two Interactive recently held its year-end earnings call, where the publisher confirmed sales figures for the previous fiscal year and shared its projections for the next twelve months — and the GTA 6 release date is staying put.
Take-Two is forecasting $8 billion in revenue for the coming year, and as expected, the company used the occasion to reaffirm Grand Theft Auto 6's November release window. Multiple analysts already predict GTA 6 will become the best-selling game of all time.
The numbers back up that confidence. Take-Two posted $5.33 billion in revenue during fiscal year 2024–2025, climbing to $6.72 billion in 2025–2026. Looking ahead to fiscal 2026–2027, the company is projecting $8.1 billion — a jump driven almost entirely by GTA 6's anticipated launch. That implies Take-Two expects the title alone to generate well over $1 billion in its current fiscal year.
The November 19 console release was personally confirmed by Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick. The company also revealed that its marketing campaign will kick into high gear over the summer, with a notable strategic shift: this time around, the promotional push will focus on online advertising rather than traditional network TV spots.
