Forza Motorsport 6: Apex leaves beta on PC

Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, Microsoft's free-to-play racing game, has left beta on PC and is now available as a full release from the Windows 10 Store.

The latest update has also added racing wheel support for numerous peripherals.

The supported wheels are the following:

  • Logitech G27 Racing Wheel
  • Logitech G25 Racing Wheel
  • Logitech G29 Racing Wheel
  • Logitech MOMO Force Feedback Racing Wheel
  • Thrustmaster T300RS
  • Thrustmaster T500 RS Gaming Wheel
  • Logitech G920 Xbox One Wheel
  • Thrustmaster T150
  • Thrustmaster TX Xbox One Wheel
  • Thrustmaster TMX Xbox One Wheel
  • Thrustmaster RGT Force Feedback Racing Wheel

Developer Turn 10 Studios says that support for other wheels such as the Fanatec CSR and ClubSport V2 Xbox One Hub models will be added in late September. Logitech H-pattern shifters are all fully supported, with the exception of the G29, which will also be added later.

All the Forza games will be available on PC in the future. Forza Horizon 3, which is part of Microsoft's new Play Anywhere feature, is scheduled to come out on September 27 for PC and Xbox One.
