Assassin's Creed III, back in 2012, was another major tectonic shift in the Assassin's Creed franchise. It presented the American Revolution in totally groundbreaking, unexpected way. Though the protagonist, Connor wasn't as good as his predecessors, but his drive to secure justice for all, evolved from his desire for revenge on the Templars, was admirable. The game also introduced our 1st playable Templar, Haytham which was a shocking move. The hunting mechanics was a commendable idea as well.
