not it is not your mistake only one mistake is there is not option to set it's settings to low.
only option of resolution it is not work.to best fps
it will be lag everywhere.

I didn't need to re-install 😃 , I've noticed a DX update program in the original DVD , it added few files to my system32 folder , after than When I opened the game again , I can finally see the Menu 😃 ...
That's not from the GPU!
Where did you installed the game... Does the folder contain Unicode letters like (á, é, ü etc.... ? )
If yes, then change the directory to one that doesn't have those kinds of letters!
If still doesn't work then it's a faulty install!
Re-installing the game should fix the problem!
If that still doesn't fix it, then you have a faulty install file, re-downloading the game and re-installing should most definitely fix it!
The right size of the download should be around 10GB.
ATI HD 5450 ...
I can start the game and can play it with good FPS , but can't see the main menu or pause menu :/
