Half-Life System Requirements

but when i run HL on multiplayer, i always run few games at 1280x720p but, I have to use 800x600 suddenly, and i got almost 25fps.
So, is there any problem on my pc.

has P4 2.4Ghz cpu
640MB DDR ram
64MB ati radeon Moblity 9000IGP (1024x768)
game worked when running win XP

how come it lags for me? I have:

1.6 GHz Processor
1 GB of RAM
128 MB video card

basically a netbook.

It's cool game, its one of my favorite game and i have finished the game more than once !😆 Well I played the game on my old pc pentium 3 with 16 MB graphic card, ram 128 MB well it work find for me.

Great game especially for it's time.

I think the system requirements listed for this are much higher than they should be. I remember this game running flawlessly on a PII 233Mhz without graphics hardware, so 500 MHz definitely can't be the minimum also the 800Mhz cpu (P4) weren't released until 2 years after the game so that doesn't even make sense being a requirement.

Wikipedia lists the minimum requirements as the following which seem more like what I remember.,,
133 MHz processor
24 MB RAM
SVGA video card
