yea i recommend u check out those games.. they are reasonably optimized..
hmm about the mad max thing huh? if you want to play it now.. im suggesting you to check out lowspecgamer on youtube ,check out his magic method on how to run it on low spec pc..yes it would run,yes it would probably got reasonable fps.. but it costs you the graphic itself.. it would not be a great and satisfying to your eyes..but there you go..

the game itself was pretty cool, the map was big,the graphics was decent, but the gameplay was ok at first but it gets boring real fast, feels repetitive, doing the same thing over and over... but the mechanics was great, you can almost feels the punching.

Yeah, I know. I was just puzzled because presumably the processor and video card are working harder during gameplay than during simple cutscenes. I'd even minimised all background activity with Razer Cortex... at least I have the game ready for whenever I next choose to upgrade.

In the meantime I'm looking forward to Dishonored and the Bioshock series- have always been a part-time gamer. If anyone does have a suggestion about the Mad Max thing, please do let me know!

i think the problem was from your laptop/computer.. bcoz i've never meet such an issue while playing this game.
i think u just push it too hard..

Hi, so I posted about this game a couple of weeks ago, and have an update. I couldn't post twice in a row for some reason, so my original post is copied here;

Hi, I hear this game runs fine on PCs with under the minimum reqs. I'd love to play this game but my laptop is a couple of years old, built for work and not gaming at all. It meets all the numerical specs but I don't know how to compare the processor and graphics.

It's an Intel Celeron processor N2840 2.16GHz; graphics Intel HD Graphics 311-792MHz.

I've played through all the Arkham games (except Knight, which I don't think runs at all on PC?), and Assassins Creed up to 4- all run fine. AC4 runs at a slow fps, but it's tolerable as it's such a great game. Hopefully Mad Max would give functional gameplay too?

So the update is that I picked up a copy and it did play tolerably well with all the graphics turned down. I was beginning to get into the game and quite enjoy the early gameplay, until the whole thing froze at the first oil crane cut-scene. That is to say, I've replayed the segment four times now, each time conquering the camp and lighting the oil can. Each time the exact same thing happens; the first segment of Max placing the oil can plays before the screen goes blank. Audio continues past the explosions but then also stops, and no combination of keys that I've tried restarts the graphics and/or game, so I have to control-alt-delete out of the game.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

try the game from low to high.. and calculate your self from the result that you got

@ O man Depends on resolution. HD you can easily get more than 60 fps on high. Full HD it might struggle so try it on high.

No these requirements aren't right. This game works fairly well on PCs with lowers specs than the minimum requirements.

the game only need a quad core processor and 4gb ram enough for this game....
