u should not compare clock speed of a dual core and aquad core.and his ram is ddr2.thats why i told so. but as u said he can give it a try.😀
yes a quad core is required but his cpu's clock speed is better and also his gpu and ram are more than recommended so i think he can do it.

I played this game in Windows XP3, but when I installed Windows Vista (32bit) I am having the 'black-screen' issue where the logo appears and then there is a black-screen for 3-4 seconds and then nothing happens and the game crashes.I have tried installing latest drivers but it doesn't do any good. Plz help. I want to play this game again.
i even tried to change the display settings externally by going to users/appdata/local/2k games/mafia2/saves/videoconfig
Someone told me that changing the 1s to 0s and the resolution to my monitor's resolution will help..but when i tried to run the game after changing the values the same thing happens but the values of video config are changed into
