No the teddy bears are mostly in multiplayer maps.
They are there as a tribute to one of the developer's daughter who died during cod4's development.

I never saw (or noticed) any teddy bear in the game. 😊

I have heard that cod4 remaster has lot of easter eggs in maps removed which is really sad but they have nicely retained the teddy bears from original.
Do you know why the teddy bears are in the maps and sp levels?
