Yah, for older dx9 games windows 7 is better than wimdows 8 but not for dx11 or later

i play alot of dx9 games and i have no problems with windows 10 it is just as smooth as windows 7

yes windows 8/8.1 was not good for older games
but windows 10 is just as good as windows 7 for older games

@justgamer_ window8 is faster and less resource intensive and well optimised for dx11, better interface, better driver support and today's games are more optimised for w8 etc ... Window 7 is good but <window 8. Window 7 is still popular in IT PRO SECTOR.
At last Both r gud bt for gaming w7<w8.

windows 10 has a lighter footprint it uses less ram than win 8.1 or 7, less cpu power than 7 or 8.1 and less hard disk space than 8.1 and slightly less space than 7

if you have Windows 7 SP1 any version 32/64bit or Windows 8.1 any version 32/64bit you can upgrade to windows 10 providing that it meets the minimum system requirements

Update: all my games work so far with good fps but not great

no only genuine copies of windows 7 sp1 and windows 8.1 can be upgraded to windows 10.

you should not use anything pirated especially windows

Can i upgrade from pirated OS? What are the disadvantages?

A bit less fps drops could get better as the OS is still very new

Plus Like the blend of Windows 7 and 8.1 very nice User Interface and DX12

So far i have not encountered any problems with gaming on win 10

Steam works fine
