i have amd sempron 140 2.70 ghz processor + zotac gt-610 2gb synergy edition graphic card + 3 gb ram + windows 7 32-bit operating system

I said no...Your 1600mhz will run only at 1333mhz....what is so hard to understand about that?

but my frnd Attila-13 my pc shows 1333mhz when i install 1600 mhz cosair xmx 4 gb.....why it shows like this.....

there won't be any harm to your motherboard if u install 1600MHZ. Just that the RAM will run at 1333MHz regardless if its 1600MHz.

Guys you will not believe me but i just played battlefield 3 on my current pc. The game's making some lags but i hope it will be alright after i increase my ram to 2 gb 😀.

@muneeb i would personally favour the processor, however this could mean that you have to upgrade the rest of the computer anyway seeming as the newest processors do not even use the same cpu slot as the old pentium 4's so meaning a new motherboard, then your motherboard may not even hold the same graphics cards as the old motherboard so they will require an upgrade to, aswell as the rest of the components, and bearing this in mind buying a new graphics card now for the old motherboard which you could need to replace later to get a better cpu could mean the new graphics card can no longer be used due to the different slot type

no low setting smooth multiplayer. i can upgrade only one thing now 😃.
