If you have the money I suggest you to get 8GB or more, but if your 4GB is a good quality one and has good clock speed then you're good!
P.S.
If you have the 2GB GTX 680, like I said if the quality is good 4GB is enough.
If you have the 4GB GTX 680, go with 8GB or more!
RAM has nothing to do with a GPU unless the GPU is integrated but you have a dedicated GPU so even 4 GB is very much

The 680 is one of the best cards right now, so you'll be able to run every game at 1080p high very high settings.

Just wanted to point that out, but I forgot, that yes, there are 16GB DIMMs for servers, but those aren't like desktop ones. Those are built with another architecture and process data differently from desktops. 😀
