please install gpu-z software and then tell your gpu's full information like memory bandwidth, bit memory and other things then i can tell you that u can play it on high or not.

the difference is that your friends onboard graphics is manufactured by intel and yours by amd the amd and nvidia gpus are better than intels.. this is the difference between intel hd graphics and your ati graphics... they are manufactured by diffirent companies..
