No. There's no such risk. My system runs 24/7 and has no problem.
There's a risk of only overheating if you don't have proper ventilation.
But if your PC has good cable management and plenty of space for airflow in the case, then there's no problem.
I talk from experience because I'm an IT Technician and a Hardware Engineer student, so I know what I'm talking about. You're the one to decide to accept my advice or not.
