I have Amd 10-5800k crossfired withd HD6670

The HD7870/GTX660 and 3GB of VRAM is confusing me a little as most of the HD7870 and GTX660 come in 2GB (there are a few 3GB and 4GB variants I believe).

I got 100/81 so I am looking forward to some 1680x1050 (possibly 1920x1080) in BF4 (leaving some of that AA/AF off/turned down).

The Windows 8 requirement is intriguing. I wonder what DirectX 11.1 (possibly 11.2 with Windows 8.1) optimizations there are going to be.

And a reminder to Nvidia fans, the 600 and 700 series does not support DirectX 11.1 and AMD's GCN architecture cards will support DirectX 11.2 features.

yeah as time passes everything becomes old and outdated

I think that in the future there will be games with Minimum requirements like:
AMD, FX HEXA-Core or Intel i7 quad-core
6 Gb RAM
nVidia or AMD graphiccs card with GDDR5 and 2 GB VRAM
