no ram is very important and u will realize this when you use more or less ram then ur current ram. and yes he can play on high. and if u don't believe then tell him to check it out. he will surely run it on high 720p.
I am not saying that the game will lag I only corrected you as you said he could play it on mid-high settings and by the way RAM has the least priority in gaming.
it will not. it will run smoothly on high 720p with AA off. It will not explode. The highest thing will be that it will lag if hackerDON is right and it will run smoothly if i am right 😆.

i am playing it on high with 2gb ram and ati radeon 3450. his ram is 3gb and gpu is gt 220. gpu and ram contribute more in graphics than cpu. a big cpu is not very nescessary. especially when the processor is hyper threaded.

his gpu is poor for dx11 gaming and for dx10 gaming it's mid settings gpu and this game is dx9 capable so high for dx9 😀.
