well i played this game in my pc and getting 20fps.playable without any prob.

Before anyone with a really terrible desktop/ laptop goes and buys this game, there's something you need to know. I used to run on a laptop with 2GB of ram, an Intel Core Duo CPU @ 2.2GHz, and a GT 210M GPU with 512MB of memory. GTA IV was absolutely unplayable. I was getting 10 FPS on the lowest settings, and it crashed upon playing on the highest. Load times were about 3-5 minutes, and on one of the last missons, it would not load, even while waiting for 10+ minutes, so I must say, get at least 4GB of RAM, and a dedicated video card like a GTX 460, if you're set on buying this resource-intensive game.

Intel HD Graphics 4000 is on Ivy Bridge processors. His 540M model is a 1st generation Core i5 CPU, Ivy bridge is 3rd generation, so no, no Intel HD Graphics 4000. The 540M has the first generation of Intel HD Graphics.

You can try on minimum settings with a small resolution, and if you have luck you can try and go higher.
