even core i3 with gtx 750Ti is enough to play some next gen games..

yes core i3 is better..but i5's is for today's game.

that's why i recommend at least intel core I3 or intel Core 2 Quad instead of intel G series! some of the new games won't run on Dual core processors even your dual core CPU is faster and able to play the game you will only see a black-screen with it! 😕
intel core i3 is a good upgrade for you!
