I don't know why the price difference is that much.
But yes, GTX 970's performance/price ratio is much better. And It's possibly the best bang for buck ever! 😃

@SamX wow, why does it almost twice expensive than gtx970? from what i heard, the performance is not as efficient as gtx970. (not an expert here)

@SamX no broh, i am afraid looking at the price tag when it comes out. cause i live in china at the moment, so, the tax for foreign goods is high here. if in US the price is $380, in China it will be around $400-$500. so i think i am gonna use gtx970 at the moment. anyway, i am thinking buying gtx980 instead of gtx970, what do you think?

Yes, it's a good gaming build. But you should consider the Corsair VS550 PSU.
And you might want to wait till June 10th for GTX 1070 to release.

Can I run it with:
AMD Athlon II X4 605e 2.3Ghz
8GB Dual Channel RAM
MSI R9 280X 3G
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

I only plan to play at 1280x1024 on a 60hz screen so will want either 60fps, 45fps or 30 fps.

Thanks
