Korunk egyik legnevesebb játékfejlesztő cége, a Ubisoft nagyot durrantott az Assassin’s Creed sorozattal. Bár az első része hagyott maga után kívánnivalót, a kiadó a második részre betartotta ígéreteit és egy szép, tartalmas folytatást dobott piacra. A sorozatban megjelent két ún. spin-off, amik a második rész sztorivonalához kapcsolódtak. Most azonban itt a valódi folytatás amihez új helyszín, új történet és persze új hős dukál.
