followed directions. made shortcut and got the target changed as stated in your directions; however, when I go to open with new shortcut (on desktop) or to play in the origin launcher. nothing but a small blank box with an "ok" button appears. game still will not open. not receiving min requirements error message anymore but not able to play still. any suggestions, please?

@lahaygood not in my games folder go to your witcher 1 directory(depends on your install directory maybe in program files/gog/)

-right click the main game(the witcher 1 icon) then send to .
-create shortcut to desktop
-right click shortcut of witcher 1 then click properties
-go to shortcut tab you will see the target
- at the end in the target type -dontForceMinReqs

should be like this "..\The Witcher\System\witcher.exe" -dontForceMinReqs

I'm sorry but when I click on the witcher game icon in "my games" in the origin launcher, I do not get the option to add anything. Does anyone have a link for step by step instructions? my games are launched in the origin launcher. thanks in advance. I'm not a pro-gamer so this is really throwing me. however, I can follow directions.

@lahaygood just right click the shortcut of the game not the main. the shortcut of the game then go the shortcut tab you will see the target then add -dontForceMinReqs

I'm not sure what or where you mean, Irene. I right-clicked on the origin icon for Witcher in the orgin launcher, then went to properties. is this what you mean?

sorry, feeling dense here but not finding the properties or set launch options to add the mod. i tried going into the launch game editor but can't open it either. when i right click I do get an option for game properties but no set launch options. i get command line arugments. I've added '-dontForceMinReqs' in the textbox but nothing happens.

hi, I have levono Y70 with 8 Gb ram; 1 TB HDD; GeForce 860 M video card. shouldn't I be able to run witcher enhanced edition? thanks!

Just got a surface pro 3 with ntel Core i5-4300U 1.90 GHz (turbo boost to 2.9 GHz), 8 GB ram, Intel HD Graphics 4400.

I got the computer for work, not gaming, but figured that, with the turbo boost i could run the game at least on a low setting. However it won't even begin to run, and instead just tell me min requirements not met. Any suggestions or can i really not play this?

GhostX40@ You can't even run this on low,,,,something is wrong, bcuz with your PC you should play this game on high sett....maybe your pc iss full with junk files and some registry errors, so i think you should scan your pc with some cleaning programm...that's just my opinnion, i hope you will find problem 😀
