Yeah. An APU costs way less than a CPU and GPU combo.
APU's are a very good choice for budget builds with a reduced or low budget and/or HTPC's.
But as I said, you can play many games just fine with a decent enough APU, but it will never perform as good as a CPU and GPU combo.
No. An APU will never be better than a CPU + a dedicated GPU combo.
It's true that you can play quite a lot of games with a decent enough APU, but it will never be better than a real GPU.
Nothing.
If your CPU has an IGPU and your laptop doesn't have a dedicated GPU, then the IGPU will be used.
If you have both an IGPU and a dedicated GPU, by default the dedicated GPU will be used.
So there's no difference in it.
does having an integrated gpu makes any difference?
for example- I have radeon hd 7650m and intel hd 4000. what woud have been the difference if i had only hd 7650m?
Bcuz 610gt is newer than 520gt.
They always tried to make GPUs cheaper. Thats why new GPUs are cheaper.
For example: gtx780 btr and cheaper than gtx680.
mhz doesn't matter. Performence depends on number of cores, memory type and speed etc.
For ex: gt 520 has 810mhz with 48 quda
where gt 590 has only 656mhz but it has 1024 quda
and it is 12 times batter
so don't compare clockspeed
#Mapuia Pachuau vram not really matter,it depend on power of gpu,
if a game need 4gb vram you can max it with 1gb vram,It's not about the
memory amount, it's about the quality of it.
@Mapuia Pachuau higher vram is needed only for higher resolution 1080p and above.
And because of your current pc specs i would not recommend any upgrades.
I think hd 6670 is right for you. And of course ddr5 is btr.
In benchmark results ddr5 perform 25-30% fast than ddr3. So why ddr3?
Your indicated two gpu's are low end. That means you can't able to play new games at high sitt. So i think 1gb vram is more than enough.
HD 6670 or GT 630...???
Should i get ddr3 or gddr5...???
Should i get 2gb or 1gb....???
my pc specs are...
intel dual core e5200 2.5ghz,1gb ram,nvidia geforce 9400gt 512mb,win 7 sp1,450watt psu,18.5inch lcd with 1366x768 res,60hz refresh rate,P5KPL-AM/PS mobo.........
it is not possible to increase dedicated video memory in a laptop it is fixed and can't be changed.
you need a newer laptop or desktop

What can I do for gaming gta iv,fifa 14?
How to increase dedicated video memory?
Which is most cpu intensive game?
some new games yes not all though
what do you meant by pro 14?
If it is pes. Your cpu is lower than minimum. Try lower your graphics sittings and res
do you have lagging
Yes, if you have a reduced budget as low as under 200$ then an APU is a perfect option.
RAM :3.00 GB
SYSTEM: 32-BIT .. But my pro 14 runs real slow can any one help me here

It's true that you can play quite a lot of games with a decent enough APU, but it will never be better than a real GPU.
for example: same price apu with extra ram gives more performence or same price cpu and gpu

you can also go for r5 m230 there is not so much different between them
r5 m230 is 700 mhz gt 820m is 750 mhz
I am buying this game to play games like AC 2 ,3,4 , Payday, F1, COD BO...
