Try updating video card driver. Other i don't know what you can do..

with GeForce FX 5500 ( with performance of Radeon 9550) i played it on medium.

Also try setting in the video options DirectX Level to 7.

I have 2.0 Ghz AMD Athlon 64 3200+,1GB of RAM,ATI RADEON 9600 Series 256MB GPU,Windows XP and still this game lags a lot even on lowest settings,why?

someone help..I have Intel pentium 4 cpu 3.40 (2CPUs),1270 mb ram,and Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family=128 mb..And i have lag,i dont get it.Resolution 800x600 and all LOW..

Well for a good GPU you need to go way down in your pocket...
High end GPU's tend to cost from 500$ to 1000$+
(GTX 570, 580, 590, 670, 680, 690/AMD 5970, 6870, 6990, 7970, 7990)

Mid range ones from 200$ to 400$
(GTX 560, 660/AMD 5850, 6850, 7770, 7870)

And anything lower than 100$ is a low range CPU!
(anything below the above)
