I have intel dual core E5700 3.0Ghz can i play COD Black OPS?

Guys this game will put almost all of its load on the CPU instead of the GPU which makes it so laggy. Treyarch coded this game best for the XBOX because the XBOX has a fast CPU. So if you want to play this game you might need a quad core CPU.

I used to run Black Ops on these specs, but suddenly the game only loads both in single player and multiplayer only until the opening screen with music in the single player and the multiplayer menu in multiplayer mode. The loading icon and cursor is on the screen. I might have unwittingly changed my settings.

can i play low-medium i have pentium 4 3.20 ghz ht enabled nVidia gt 520 1 gb didicated, and 1 gb ram. I KNOW my pc doesnt meet the minimum requirements but i just want to know if any body has played the game smoothly with specs like mine.

maybe on very low... the CPU is good but your GPU is a bit weak for the game and 1.5GB ram isn't enough for best performance!

You know you can have the best gpu and you can have a lot of ram if you don't have a good enough CPU you know....
But please be more specific please.....
What kind of ram do you have?
What GPU you have....?

There are a lot of 512MB ones...for example if you compare a GT220 to a GTX560... both have 1GB of memory but the GTX560 smashes the GT220 in performance....

You can have even 3GB of GPU memory, but if it's 64bit even a 256MB GPU if it's 256bit will beat it....

These minimum requirements are too high. Black Ops is playable on a Geforce 7800GTX, AMD Athlon X2 3800+ and 3GB of ram.

The single game play was/is very awesome but the multiplayer was/is totally crap.

i hv core2duo with 500gb hd andf 2 gb ram with gigabite g41m-es2l chipset with 256mb on board graphics. cod-bops is running slow.please advice....

@Gjallarhorn i think you can play your cpu is dual core right and with 2,7 Ghz should be no problem at all to play this game athlon 64 are good and the x2 stnads for dual core i think a dual core with 2,7 ghz should be enough an E 6600 has 2,4 Ghz from the structure and frequenz should be no much difference
